Skull and Bones Third Director: Elisabeth Pellen Steps Down as a Director
Skull and Bones was announced to be launched back in 2018. Fans were excited about it but the game was faced with fallbacks one after the other. Despite having interesting and action-packed gameplay, Ubisoft’s title wasn’t able to land its ship in the waters.
Elisabeth Pellen has been with the title since 2018 with the development team. The game was under development in Singapore. Pellen was responsible for giving a creative direction to the naval ARGP players’ game. Her vision was successful in the long run. But she has to move back to Paris as her time has ended unexpectedly.
Her stay ended due to a labor campaign organized by the Creative Media and Publishing Union. She was previously the Vice President of editors of Ubisoft’s creative projects. Franchises like Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, and The Division were also under her. She is now the Director of Editorial Online in Paris at Ubisoft.
Skull and Bones: Gameplay and Its Setbacks
Skull and Bones has an interesting naval pirated theme game. The gameplay is interesting as they are at war to mark waters from the Coast of Africa to the islands of the East Indies. The game theme is inspired by Assassin’s Creed 4: Black’s Flag with water-drenching ships and naval combats.
After a list of delays, Ubisoft has announced that the game has closed its beta testing and will be ready to be launched in March 2024. Fans have their fingers crossed even after the loss of another director. Gamers are looking forward to the beta testing that might be open.
Skull and Bones third director was replaced due to legal work duration. Moreover, fans have seen a bad track of delays that don’t seem to be ending. However, game enthusiasts have tracked a release window in the first quarter of 2023 or 2024. Now that fans have a ray of light that can keep their inner pirate ready to sail.
