Skateboard lovers gather around! SK8 The Infinity has announced the release date of its next sequel. Sports lovers fall for the first-ever anime about skateboarding. Anime lovers have waited for almost two years for the return of Reki and Langa. The official announcement about the anime series was made back in August 2022. Additionally, the second series was also announced at the moment. SK8 The Infinity Season 2 aka EXTRA PART release date was announced along with the OVA release soon after it. The anime series SK8 The Infinity EXTRA PART aka Season 2 will be released in selective Japanese theaters on 24th January 2025. Whereas, the OVA (Original Video Animation) will be released on March 19th. The physical release will of 25 minutes. What Happened Till the End of Season 1
Reki and Langa become friends in high school. Langa moved from Canada after his father’s death. However, Reki is a teenage boy whose personality speaks for his passion. In the struggle to adapt to the new place, Langa starts with skating as he loves snowboarding. Both’s passion attracts them to become friends. However, Adam is an antagonist.
He finds Langa as his rival aka Eve, someone who can give him a good competition. He is an athlete and owner of one of the tracks sites, “S”. Due to his dark obsession, he fails to the real talent of Langa. Fans are expecting Season 2 to have an accelerated start. As the series creator, Hiroko Utsumi mentioned the location of the next series will be in the shopping district.
