This immersive game by Larian Studios was released for PC and other consoles like Xbox and PS is a whole world on its own, from defeating enemies to finding love. BG3: Split Screen Co-Op Setting

Mostly, the split-screen co-op is automatic. This enables it to identify it as a couch co-op. Couch co-op is a local multiplayer setting. In this setting. players are sharing the game with the same console and screen. This setting can be accessed on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. But not on Xbox Series S as it has low processing power. Couch co-op four players at the same time and here are three ways to play.

Start the game or load the previous save file.
To check the second controller, press any button.
Now, customize a character or choose the existing one.
Now, Split Screen Co-op is ready

You can use a mouse and keyboard as the second player using third-party software. However, Larian Studios might launch KB/M in the future but there are no signs of it at the moment.

Split Screen Mode on Consoles

Split Screen mode on consoles activates the same as the PC. This feature was exclusive to PS5 and Xbox X. But after September 2024, this feature will no longer be available for Xbox S. It’s budget-friendly but has low processing power. However, other consoles will have 30 FPS while playing on split screen mode.
