Itadori Yuji has progressed gradually through the JJK series. Especially after the Shibuya Arc, things have sped up now. In Chapter 264, Yuji has upgraded his powers after training from Atsuya Kusakabe, Grade 1 Sorcerer. His initial trials by Gojo Satoru have enabled him to survive till now. But now he has learned the techniques to practice Domain Expansion will surely make the combats more interesting.

Even though the series are ending in the next chapters, his powers are still unclear. The author has already mentioned to end of his story in the last arc of the series so fans have high hopes for Yuji’s end. Yuji will try his first Domain Expansion against Sukuna to save Megumi. Megumi Fushiguro’s body was under the control of Ryomen Sukana till the end of the previous chapter. In the next chapter, let’s see what happened.

Yuji Domain Expansion V/S Ryomen Sukuna

Now, Yuji Itadori became a trouble to Sukana, King of Curses. Yuji’s motive is to save Megumi. He reverted to his actual form before taking over Megumi’s body in Culling Games. Yuji begins his Domain Expansion against Sukuna by unleashing his cursed techniques. As fandom is aware of the Domain Expansion’s rules. First, a great command of barrier techniques binds its user’s innate techniques which will strengthen it further. Second, using powerful attacks to detain the enemy within.

But King of Curses has already regained his reverse-cursed technique so he had his hands back by regeneration. He underestimated Yuji’s powers as though his Dismantle powers would not damage his physical body.

The epic moment of the series stood out when Yuji made the hand sign of his Domain Expansion. He manifested a domain that left Sukana shocked. His techniques and mechanics aren’t clear yet. But it’s expected that there could be a similarity in domain expansion of both Kusakabe and Yuji. As they share the same knowledge they both might have the boundary. Regardless of the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna whose Domain Expansion, Malevolent Shrine with no boundary. Looking forward to Yuji’s Domain Expansion, there could be some flaws.

Yuji’s attempt’s to use Sukuna’ cursed techniques to use Cleave and Dismantle techniques. He might be able to cut off the curse spirit’s connection with Megumi’s body. His strategy is to get off Sukuna from Megumi’s body. He lured him by letting him take on his body and letting Megumi go. His actual motive is to save Megumi with minimum damage. His Domain Expansion has boosted his basic stats but is confusing as domain expansion has its own specific environment and powers. Such as Gojo Satoru’s Unlimited Void has a space theme environment leaving his enemies immobilized and powerless.

Yuji himself is confused about his own domain expansion in the first place. With different locations from his expansion, he has taken Sukuna around Tokyo. Fans are confused themselves. The only understanding we can depict is that the locations are from Yuji’s memories. Fans are most excited about the sure hit technique from Yuji. As he’s the user of the domain expansion, his can’t miss out hit has kept fandom on their toes. Maybe they are looking for more JJK memes.
