When is My Happy Marriage Season 2 Release Date Coming Out?

My Happy Marriage Season 2 will be released in January 2025. The anime will be released on Netflix. Previously, Season 1 was aired on it too. The anime will be aired on other platforms like Crunchyroll as well. However, the release date of 1st episode is not yet decided. But fans are sparked even with the release window. The anime became famous on Netflix among fans rapidly and created records.

My Happy Marriage is an adaptation of a novel by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. The Kinema Citrus, the same company responsible for Season 1, will do the production of Season 2. Directors, Takehiro Kubota and Masayuki Kojima. Storyboards by Takao Abo with scripts by Ami Sato, Takahito Onishi, and Momoka Toyoda. The co-writers for the scripts are  Misato Hashiba, Fuka Ishii, and Momoka Toyoda. Whereas, character design by Shoko Yasuda and music by Evan Call.

New characters joining the series will be:

• Tadakiyo Kudo(voiced actor: Ryotaro Okiayu), the previous head and father of Kiyoka.
• Fuyu Kudo(voice actress: Kikuko Inoue) is Kiyoka’s mother.
• Naoshi Usui (voice actor: Yuya Uchida) founded the Gifted Communion and wants to use Miyo to power the society.

Season 2 Teaser Revealed

The trailer reveals Miyo as the only one gifted with Dream Sight powers. In Season 1, the true color of Miyo’s parent reveals the bitter reality of her sad childhood. However, Season 2 reveals the harsh and rude behaviors of Kiyoka’s parents. Her decent way of handling problems is good within the household. However, big problems are ahead in the season when she is in trouble due to a power greedy, Naoshi Usui.

My Happy Marriage Season 2 Key Visual Revealed

This key visual was released along with the announcement of Season 2. This cheery blossom tree shades with main protagonist, Miyo Saimori with her companion Kiyoka Kudou moving forward to a better future with mutual healing. The novel publisher, Yen Press is responsible for republishing light novels in English version. The press describes the novel as:

“Born talentless to a noble family famous for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo finally comes of marriageable age, though, her hopes of being whisked away to a better life crumble after she discovers her fiancé’s identity: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so cold and cruel that his previous would-be brides all fled within three days of their engagements.
