Where to find Chainsaw in Fallout 76

A chainsaw isn’t just a tool for safety. You can further enhance it with other weapons too, such as you can increase its efficiency by pairing it with Vampire’s legendary weapon. This heals your 2% health for 2 seconds while you’re attacking with a chainsaw. With prop Mods, you will be indestructible.

But getting Mods can be tough. Either you need to scrap them or purchase from the vendors. Both of the options are quite expensive. So the best option is to search out locations where chainsaws can be found.

Mount Dome: This is the ideal location to look for chainsaws. The easiest location to get chainsaws as there are no enemies to defeat. But it needs light travel to reach the location. First, reach the travel point, turn left to move around the dome, and head towards the other end. As you reach, you will see a metal building. Enter the building to find a chainsaw on the ground.

Most Commonly Found Chainsaw Locations

Here are some locations to check.

• The Foundry: Here there are three locations to find. The first is in the Canal. You can find a chainsaw on the weapons workbench. The second will be in the Warehouse. Near the Belts sign, there will be a chainsaw on the floor. The third one will be on the Twin Cauldrons. Reach the light blue room where you will see a chainsaw on the shelf.
• Crimson Prospect: Reach the southwest side of the bus. There will be a chainsaw on the bottom of the metal rack.
• Pleasant Valley Cabins: Reach the location and head towards the cliffs. There will be a chainsaw under a huge tree.
• Ranger District Office: Across the cages, there will be a chainsaw placed on a bar.
• Ingram Mansion: Reach the mansion and head towards the western side. There will be a chainsaw on top of two barrels.
• Poseidon Energy Plant WV-06: Reach the South Expansion area. Head to its top by climbing through the pipes. A chainsaw will be placed on a table beside the grill.
• Mountainside B&B: A chainsaw is on the basement ground at this location. But if you have completed the Cannibals side quest, you will be locked. But here’s the twist. You can do a photo glitch. Enter the photo mode and move towards the locked door. Keep moving till you glitch inside the room. Once you are inside the room, you exit by fast travel.
• Middle Mountain Pitstop: Reach the location, and head towards the south-western side. There will be a tool shed in the middle of Boozin Brahmin and the general store buildings.
