Destiny 2: Blast Furnace
Blast Furnace is a medium range with high zoom to kill aliens. It is also honored as one of the best pulse rifles ever in-game. The weapon is back in the Into The Light update with better enhancements. But first, you have to complete a series of quests to unlock it. Let’s learn how to unlock it.
How to Unlock Blast Furnace
First, you need to complete the Feats of Strength with Lord Shaxx. This unlocks the Hall of Champions with full potential. Next, take part in the Onslaught Activity. Here you will have to confront the right hand of Lord Shaxx, Stranger Danger.
Once Feats of Strength are completed, you grab all the Brave arsenal weapons from Arcite. Lastly, you will have to complete the Blast from the Past. Defeat all Guardians and wipe off all the enemies. Once it is done, a holographic status of Lord Sharxx will appear to give the weapon. Along with it, you will be rewarded with Onslaught activities and Trophies of Bravery Chests. Here are some of its stats.
Blast Furnace Stats
Skills | PvE | PvP |
Barrel | Any | Arrowhead Brake |
Magazine | Tactical Mag | Accurized Rounds |
Third Column | Kinetic Tremors | Zen Moment, Headseeker |
Fourth Column | One for All | Rapid Hit, Kill Clip |
Masterwork | Reload Speed | Handling |
This weapon has high stats with 79 Range, 64 Stability, and 65 Recoil Direction at base. Such as Sunshot Catalyst and Unending Tempest god rolls. But this perfect pulse rifle also has a drawback. It has a Handling of 24 which means it can be a slow-mo to some players.
For a PvE, it might be decent. With Kinetic Tremors and One For All roll. But for PvP, it’s an excellent choice with Range and Stability stats. Rapid Hit, Zen Moment, and Arrowhead Brake are excellent for combat with quick recoil. But top of the list is the Headseeker. When combined with Precision Hit, buff becomes stronger with better consistency and reliability.
