#1 Reach Stormshore Tabernacle

This is the place after you land in Lower City after you leave Wyrm’s Crossing and where to meet Mystra in Gale’s companion quest. Here a vendor, Vicar Humbletoes will sell various items.

#2 Tabernacle Basement Breakthrough

Players can break in through the Ornate Wooden Hatch. It will be in the corner of the tabernacle. The coordinates are X:103 and Y:-30. You will need a Lockpicking skill of 10 levels. You can either pick it yourself when the Vicar is busy somewhere else. Or you can let any party member talk to him and tamper with the lock.

#3 Inside the Tabernacle Basement

Players need to be careful as there are some gas pits and pressure traps. So, as you enter the basement walk slowly and carefully. You can detect those traps by using the perception. If you step on any of those traps, then be ready to deal some damage to Holy Fire.

As you cross the basement, head towards the hall. There will be a huge chest on the end and approach it. There is the Amulet of the Devout.

The Castigated By Divinity Curse

Stealing the Amulet of the Devout will rage the god’s anger which will cast the Castigated By Divinity curse. The character who steals the amulet will be cursed. This curse will affect when that character goes down to spawn a Dev enemy. This will kill that character. Or you can choose the way.

You can choose to smash the chest with a bludgeoning weapon. This can be done by Vicar Humbeltoe. As the chest breaks, the Amulet of the Devout will disperse on the floor. You can pick the amulet and gods will not be angry with you.
