Destiny 2 Ritual Activities: A Guide to All The Playlists

The Popular MMO Shooting game, Destiny 2 has been a pay-to-play game since its release. Once the game had become free to play in 2023, many players were interested in Destiny 2. There are some Ritual Activities, which is an important part of the game. They are how you complete weekly missions through different “Playlists” such as Vanguard (PVE), Gambit (PVPE), and Crucible (PVP). These “Ritual Activities” fulfill the purpose of gaining rewards and earning achievements and count as progress overall. However, they do not offer complete explanations regarding the playlists of Destiny 2 Ritual Activities.

Crucible

The Playlist is regarded as a full PVP-based mode for competitive players. It offers rewards based on your performance that will decide your fate to become the best or, vice versa. Division Matches in Crucible are made to increase your Division Rank and losing will result in losing your hard-earned rank. While winning including the rank points, will also offer you various rewards.

Though with such high stakes, the game will be incredibly competitive as the number of ranks increases. The rewards will come equally in sync as well. Something about the division ranking system is that you rank above, for instance from silver to gold. You will be put in a “Promotion Series” which would require you to win. Players can win the next couple of matches to rank up or else they will not fail.

If you do lose, the “Relegation Series” will await you and you need to win at least two of your next three matches. Or unpleasant results will give you the lowest rank of the previous one. Keep in mind that inactivity also results in decreased division points for players. And those with a high rank in hopes that they are safe from Relegation.

Gambit

As you earn division points, Infamy points are also as important. They mainly offer rewards as you increase your Infamy rank. There are various ranks and leveling up will get harder as you increase. Though the rewards you will earn from leveling up will help you plenty. There are a few like the Guardian, Brave, Heroic, Fabled, and Mythic ranks. These ranks will have all three tiers and as for the Legend rank. It has only one rank compared to the others with three.

One of the best ways to level up is to complete Daily Bounties. The Bounties are renewed every day by the Drifter which will have a handful of them waiting for you. This includes Infamy points and incredible rewards in case you are not in the mood to play a proper match. Gambit is quite helpful in terms of rewards, especially for players who have just been introduced in-game. And as they are an important part of Destiny 2 Ritual Activities.

Vanguard

Whilst the other two have singular playlists, the Vanguard playlist. It is divided into two separate ones, the Vanguard Ops and Nightfalls. Here, Vanguard Ops has standard activities such as strike and battleground that offer a decent amount of rewards for players. Nightfalls are completely advanced compared to Vanguard Ops with lesser difficulty. And as being based on a higher difficulty for those who seek better rewards and competitive gameplay. It has made Nightfalls so popular.

Note that entering the two have different requirements based on their difficulty level. Vanguard Bounties also are a big part of that as the Vanguard armor and weaponry are quite useful. From start to finish in Destiny 2 Ritual Activities, even after major updates. 

Which is the Better Playlist?

All three playlists are very important but it is up to the player to decide which one to grind on and whether all your efforts may be in vain or not. However, no one wants their efforts to go to waste for just competitive gameplay, right? And playing for better rewards is not greedy as rewards are a big help to all your achievements earned in the game and also to progress. As far as we know Vanguard Nightfalls consists of the hardest activities that meaningfully give you equal giving rewards. Although all three are very rewarding, they may vary based on the difficulty.
