The Kong adventure is in here. The Universal Studios Japan has announced an exciting news for the Donkey Kong fans. Japan will open its version of Donkey Kong Country. Universal Studio Japan has officially announced the mega for the grand opening in Osaka. Super Nintendo World Donkey Kong expansion will have its debut in Spring 2024 and officially announced today about the opening window for fans to book their tickets to Osaka. Super Nintendo World Donkey Kong Expansion Announced

The announcement was made at the press conference on WDW News Today. Universal Studios Japan made the announcement and revealed the attractions. The announcement was presented at the park for the media reps as showtime. Let’s begin with the highlight of the theme park.

Media reps were gifted with Donkey Kong-themed items. Such as a Donkey King barrel filled with snacks, along with Cute Donkey Kong and Dixie Kong headbands. Brand new power-up bands for Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong lovers can purchased and enjoy the vibe.

Universal Studios Japan had its Nintendo theme parks operational in March 2021. The initial announcement was made back then. However, it was expected to increase the size of the park by 70%. The expansion details were revealed today.

Donkey Kong’s Madness Area

The main attraction for the visitors will be the rollercoaster ride in the Mini Cart Madness area. This ride takes you around a temple tower in the center of the jungle. Donkey Kong Country Returns gameplay was the inspiration. Riders will be riding as Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong from the game. Moreover, the riders will have the mission to protect the Golden Banana from the opponent, Tiki Tak.

Other Activities & Final Boss Tiki Tong in Super Nintendo World Donkey Kong Expansion

The final boss, Tiki Tong from Donkey Kong Country Returns will be at the end of the theme park. Apart from that there are many other activities that players can enjoy. The creator of Donkey Kong Shigeru Miyamoto planned and developed these activities. There are also many mini-missions players can complete.

Like collecting KONG letters for an extra life. Before they collect these, visitors will have to purchase the Power-Up bands. The Donkey Kong-based collection will soon be available at Super Nintendo World. Visitors can check their collection when they connect their Power Up Band with their Universal Studio Japan app.

Donkey Kong Merchandise & Confectioneries

The Donkey Kong-themed merchandise will be available this week starting today. DK barrels will be the exclusives. Gamers can use these DK barrels as a piggy bank or collect and keep miniature items. Banana Coins as coin-shaped chocolates as confectionaries.
