Rise Again, Arisen – Dragon’s Dogma 2 Gameplay Showcase

Capcom has just brought Dragon’s Dogma 2 closer to its fans. The developer, Capcom has live-streamed the upcoming game insights just a couple of hours before. The live stream has shown the gameplay glimpse and revealed new enemies. The executives also elaborated the gameplay for the gamers. Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcase: Gameplay

The developer company live-streamed a 15-minute-long session. Since the release of the original game back in 2012, there has been no solid information revealed regarding the next sequel. The live stream revealed the gameplay with new enemies Talos. Players will have to jump over their backs and control them by triggering their weak points.

The game producer, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi explained that the game storyline will be in a parallel world. He confirmed that the players will find themselves in the middle of clashes of two kingdoms: Vermund and Battahl. The human race of Vermund and the Beastren nation from Battahl. are at war for the true successor of the throne.

Arisen will confront enemies to be crowned on the Vermind throne which will be occupied by a fake Arisen placed by the Vermund’s Queen Regent. Apart from the storyline, there are other details as well. A supporting elite for Arisen, Trickster Vocation is introduced with new combat features. It can wave a censor and call illusion enemies to attack. Or it can help by providing buffs to its Pawns.

Elves are also part of the game and speak in their native language. As Arisen can’t understand it, players can use Pawn as a translator for both parties to communicate. Apart from Talo, another enemy introduced is a long leg with a headless and sword-wielding slender body, Dullahan. After the gameplay, executives revealed the release date

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Release Date, Pre-order & Platforms

The executives, Itsuno and Hirabayashi confirmed that the game is in its final stages. The confirmed release date is 22nd March 2024. It will be available on all platforms including PC along with PlayStation and Xbox. And pre-order is open now.

Players can get the Deluxe Collection with 1500 Rift Crystals, the Dragon’s Dogma Music & Sound Collection, an Explorer’s Camping Kit, and six other valuable items. A Superior Weapons set for players with Standard Edition. It contains the exclusive tools for the initial four Vocations. With both editions comes the Ring of Assurance for players to pre-order.
