The main reason for this huge storage might be the story mode. Recently, the development producer and director, Kohei Ikeda, and marketing producer, Naoya Yasuda spoke about it in a Famitsu interview. They stated that the allocated budget for the game by Bandai Namco was quite large as this allows them to add more story content.
