It’s beyond belief that the Assassin’s Creed will soon have its 16th birthday. This Persian-style RGP was inspired by the Prince of Persia initially. And now has a remarkable storyline on its own. Thankfully, the next installment after Odyssey and Valhalla is here with another interesting yet notoriety storyline – Mirage. The City of Bagbad – beautiful, vibrant with crowded bazaars and connected rooftops is the perfect place for our Assassin to chase its enemies. AC Mirage’s first look was revealed on Opening Night Live 2023 in Germany. This first look gave many players the feature they have been waiting for. The trailer begins with the mesmerizing beauty of Bagdad and a conversation with the main lead. Yes! There is a main lead named Basim. Basin Ibn Ishaq is the main character in Mirage and was introduced back in Vallahalla. As the trailer continues, he speaks with the tourist guide he keeps inquiring about his return to Bagbad City. 

Fans are overwhelmed as their wish comes true. As they expected the next installment will be simpler in terms of settings and mechanics. They wish to have a basic or raw form of the very first Assassin’s Creed. Ubisoft improved the stealth action with strategic fights over decades. With each new series, a new storyline prevails. But not anymore, the fans got bored with the same recipe.

It begins to taste the same. Especially after Syndicate. So, the franchise decided to revamp the gameplay and get back to the initial storyline of AC with simpler gameplay but improved fights.

Ubisoft has released a glimpse for its thirsty fans. The Arabian infrastructure in the night view of deserts with a rich historical background is all you can see at first look. Apart from this, the action in the 4K view is even mesmerizing with the backfall action of the assassin aka Basim. The released screenshots and special Ubisoft Bordeaux’s release ahs allowed some players to see the insights with details. 

Without any spoilers, the storyline defines Basim as a tourist who explores the bazaars and streets of Bagdad. The next clip shows Basim being trained to be a street thief as he gets spotted by the Hidden Ones. The advanced level is when Basin becomes a well-trained assassin. A huge duty is assigned to eliminate the threats in the city. Thugs and criminals for the safety of normal citizens and wage-earners.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage review will be from the fans after they see the insights of the Bagdad streets and train with Hidden Ones.
