This is the third and final mission on the outskirts of Akila City. One of the Akila City quests in the Cheyenne System is Defensive measures. To begin this quest, you have to reach Shepard’s General Stores. You need to look for the trio outside the barracks behind the store. The agenda of the mission is simple – just complete the objectives.

Next, find a resting place like a bench or bed. Rest there for 24 hours. After 24 hours have passed, find Keoni to begin the False Positives. This is another mission that will require you to complete its objectives too. Then again find a resting place and wait for 24 hours. After the time is over, reach Keoni neat The Rock to start the Leader of the Pack quest.

How to Complete Leader of the Pack Quest

Now the main quest begins. Keoni will be worried as there is unusual patroling from Akila Security. She keeps sharing her view that she thinks the is Davis Wilson. She will be worried and will ask you to talk with Davis. You will meet him at the gate of the desert where it confirms Keoni’s suspicion that he is part of the patrol team.

He keeps giving you a cold shoulder to let him do this job. He then explains to you that there are unusual activities of Ashta. The main agenda of the quest is the encounter with an Alpha Ashta. You as a player will ask Davis to try patrolling in the outskirts of the city. He moves outside the walls after a quick walk from the gate. He also gives another NPC informing him that someone claims to have been attacked by an Ashta in the desert area.

You and Davis will have a conversation in the desert where he will share the story of his experience during his first year in Akila. Suddenly, the ground will be shaken by the entry of the Alpha Ashta. You can attack the animal with your boost pack-assisted jumps. You will be harmless if you are above level 15. But you have to make sure Davis survives too.

Will Davis Survive the Ashta’s Attack?

If Davis survives the attack, then he will ask you to make a goal to hunt down all these Alpha Ashta. Next, he will ask you to head back to Akila and talk to Keoni that she needs to focus on her data as she was right. Her sentiments were right about the data she collected. This will be rewarded with 100 XP and 8,300 credits. The Despondent Assassin legendary rifle will be the jackpot. And now, you can build the Mounted Ashta.

If Davis didn’t survive the attack, you will head back to Keoni in Akila. You will have two options – either you will angrily accuse Keoni of pushing Davis into a death trap or sadly inform her about Davis’s death. She will be heartbroken by any of the options and make sure to track down all Ashta. The reward will still be the same.
