Last week, the combination of Steam Deck and Steam was made official. Adam Fletcher, Community Manager had made the announcement through a post on X (previously Twitter). He confirmed the news as many fans have queries about the portable handheld devices. The fans’ high demand fulfilled the request.

Adam said, “We have been hearing some questions regarding Steam Deck verification for Diablo 4. We can happily say that Diablo IV will be Steam Deck Verified starting next Tuesday with the launch of the game on Steam and the start of Season of Blood!”. He replied to a comment with further explanation to various queries of fans.

He explained that the players will have to repurchase the Diablo 4 on Steam again although they have bought it on Battle.net. The players should have the Battle. net account. He replied: “Two different storefronts run by two different companies”. Unfortunately, the crossplay support is disabled between consoles and PCs due to technical issues.
