The Bee House is an essential structure for any striving beekeeper and for a profitable business. This sweet delicacy is available almost throughout the year. It is artisan equipment just like the wine where specific tools help you expand your business. You can have Bee House in two methods: purchase it or receive it as a reward. For more details, I have further explained the methods below:

  • Fall Crops Bundle: You can have this bundle from Pantry in the restored section of the Community Center. Players only have to grow the crops that are available in the fall season. Once the players can farm them successfully, they will be rewarded with one Bee House.
  • Crafting: Players can craft the bee house numerous times according to their needs. Make sure you are on Farming Level 3. To craft the bee house, you need to buy 40 wood, 8 coal, 1 maple syrup, and 1 iron bar from Robin Shop.

Once you have the bee house, you can start manufacturing the main product: Honey. There are mainly two types of honey: Flower Honey and Wild Honey. Wild Honey is created according to the type of flower that grows nearby and will be at a sale price of 100g.

Here are the types of flowers with their prices and seasons in which they grow. This will only produce Flower Honey only.

Placing the Bee House

Location is crucial when looking to place their Bee Houses. Choose a spot with lots of flowers nearby, as bees need these to produce honey. The more flowers around the house, the higher the chances of getting quality honey.

Flower honey is produced if there are fully grown flowers in your five tiles distance. This space will work as the scarecrow. Place only the type of flower closest to the house to get its honey. In case there is more than one flower type, then the honey of the closest grown flower will be produced. You can purchase various flower seeds from Pierre’s shop.

Once you’ve placed it on your farm or on the Beach, wherever you like unless it doesn’t harm or fall in the villager’s way. Otherwise, the houses will be destroyed.

Seasons For Beekeeping

Bees are active during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. They hibernate during the winter, so there will be no honeybees during this time. You can easily the most of the other seasons to maximize your honey manufacturing and then later utilize it in the winter.
