Stardew Valley: Wine
Wine is a result of tradesman food that can be created through all the seasons. It can be created from Kegs. You can have this machinery by two methods. The first method is to complete the Brewer or Artisan bundle. The second is to upgrade your farming with Oak Resin, Copper Ingot, and Iron Bar along with 30x Wood.
How to make Wine?
Once you have a Keg, you will need a fruit. Assure that the fruit is of good quality. The process of wine-making is quite similar to the real world. Put the fruit in the Keg and mark the calendar for the next 7 days. This will ferment the fruits to its delicious wine with standard quality.
You can also buy wine from the marketplace of Pelican Town at various locations and festivals. Here are some options for you if you wish to purchase:
- Traveling Cart: You can purchase your wine fruit from the market on wheels at the ratio of 1200-2000g.
- Status of Endless Fortune: You can get the wine at Harvery’s Birthday on each Winer 14.
- Feast of the Winters Star: This is a feast just like the Luau Festival. Any vendor will get you this drink except for these five: Marnie, Willy, Clint, Evelyn, and Robin.
- New Year’s Eve: If you are a partner of Leah or Elliott, then luckily this drink will be offered to you on the eve.
Drinking wine will give you a boost at speed and tipiness buff that will last for 30 seconds. As a base fruit, it will give you standard healing effects. But you have to choose the best quality fruit with a good restoration factor. Here is the list of restoration factors based on wine quality(discussed below).
Quality | Energy | Health |
Normal | +50 | +22 |
Gold | +70 | +31 |
Silver | +90 | +40 |
Iridium | +130 | +58 |
What you can do with Wine?
If you wish to achieve a high-quality and expensive wine, then extend the fermentation process. It might take 14 to 28 days and then place it in the cask. You can then prepare your stock and sell it at a good price. You can calculate the price of the wine by multiplying the base fruit weightage by 100.
The above-mentioned wine-making process just prepares the standard quality of wine. But you can create four types of wines in total. Apart from normal, you can prepare Gold, Silver, and Iridium standard wines.
If you’re considering being a wine merchant in the long run, you should buy a final farmhouse upgrade to get a cellar. You can later use this space to store the wine on a large scale.
